Product Description: This junmai sake is a sake characterized by soft taste with richness and sharpness. We are adamant about using our local ingredients such as Yamanishiki rice made in Itoshima and underground water of Mt. Sangunsan group to make this sake because we really know the characteristics.

Raw Material: 100% Domestic Rice, 100% Malted Rice

Type: Jun-shu Rich Sake – full body with subtle fragrance
Flavor & Aroma: Rich flavor with umami and the aroma of steamed rice
Example sake: Junmaishu (Especially, kimoto and Yamahai) ,etc.
Suitable Temperature: around 20 degrees (Celsius) 68 degrees (Fahrenheit) or around 40 degrees (Celsius) 104 degrees (Fahrenheit)
Suitable Sake Wares: Guinomi, Hirahai, Bordeaux wine glass etc.
Good Foods to pair: Cheese, Tuna(toro), Yakitori with sauce, Beefsteak, etc.

"Kobayashi Sake Brewery", founded in 1792, is a long-established brewery which lasts more than 220 years since the Edo period.  For over 200 years, this brewery has consistently been devoted to making a good sake in rich nature blessed with the underwater flow of Sansei-san.  At the time of the second generation "Kappei", he got a strange rock that closely resembles a turtle, one day.  The name of this sake brewery is told that he began to use the "Bandai" brand in accordance with the proverbs of "Turtle for a million years".  This brewery uses Yamada-Nishiki and Reihou as shuzo-kotekimai.  Especially, Yamada-Nishiki i s  made at  Itoshima area,  the local city in Fukuoka prefecture.  Kobayashi brewery is making sake that sticks to their local ingredients.

 

Kobayashi sake brewery is making more than 20 kinds of alcoholic beverages such sake, shochu and liqueurs.
And, a representative sake among them is "Bandai" brewed by using underwater flow of Sansei mountain.
Recent popular sake is daiginjoshu "Taketeki"and super dry junmaishu "Hakata no mori".
