Iwafune offers a sharp,clear flavor, with a smooth finish.  A very traditional Sake for the local region.

Type: So-shu Refreshing Sake light and smooth
Flavor & Aroma: fresh aroma with a smooth and lush flavor.
Example sake: Honjozoshu, Futsushu, Namazake, etc.
Suitable Temperature: 5-10 degrees (Celsius) 41-50 degrees (Fahrenheit)
Suitable Sake Wares: Small choko, Flute glass, etc.
Good Foods to pair: Sashimi, Fresh oysters, Tofu, Yakitori with salt and lemon, etc.
(In harmony with simple and light cuisines)

Product Information – Rikyubai Series:
The Sakahan Series represents our more traditional Kansai made Sake.  For centuries Daimon Brewery has been a regional medal winner.  We believe that by using the Ginjo method, a slower fermentation process at a lower temperature, and by making our Tokubetsu Sake with a special Koji Rice milling ratio of 55%, we create a very special Sake for the local market.  In addition, all of our sake is prepared in small batches creating a more precise brew.  In honor of these local Sake’s we have gone one step further this year by reintroducing label design components from 50 years ago.
